Perfect Pear and Brussels Sprout Salad

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 large pear (approx. ½ cups chopped)
  • 3 cups shredded Brussels sprouts
  • ⅓ cup dried cranberries
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds
  • 1½ Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp dried thyme
  • ⅛ tsp nutmeg
  • ⅛ tsp pepper

DIRECTIONS

Thoroughly wash the pear and Brussels sprouts before using. Chop the pear into small pieces. Cut the stem off of the Brussels sprouts, then cut them in half and place in the food processor. Pulse the food processor so the Brussels sprouts are roughly chopped. In a large mixing bowl, add the pear, Brussels sprouts, and all other ingredients and mix until well incorporated. Serve and enjoy!
